Installing Cimagraphi 9.0

Installing

  1. Insert the Cimagraphi 9.0 CD into your CD or DVD drive

  2. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen. The operating system will automatically launch the setup program. If the installation does not start, select the setup program by using Explorer.

Un Installing

To remove Cimagraphi 9.0 from your computer, open the Control Panel folder, and double-click the Add/Remove programs icon. Select Cimagraphi 9.0 from the list, then click the Add/Remove button. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

Starting the Cimagraphi system

During installation, the installation program creates a folder named Cimagraphi 9.0 in the Start /Programs folder. This folder contains the four program icons that start each of the Cimagraphi 9.0 system modules. Click on the Start button /Programs /Cimagraphi 9.0 - and the desired module. Later you may move freely between the modules, so it is not important with which module you start.

Running Cimagraphi for the first time

Running the system for the first time, you will be prompted for the key file. If you received the *.sky key file from you vendor, Use the Browse button and pick the file. If you do not have the *.sky key file, send your vendor the *.gky ID file. The location of the ID file is pointed in the "ID located in:" label on the form. The ID string can also be copied directly from "Your ID" text box and pasted into the email.
