Transferring Data between Modules
	Chapter 1. Introduction

The system consists of four modules, each with a special function. Once you finish working in one of the modules you may want to move the job on to the next module. Use the system's internal clipboard to do this. Copy → Paste lets you transfer geometric data between the modules in a simplified manner.

	To export, mark the geometries to be transferred, and select the Edit → Copy option.
	To import, select the Edit → Paste option. The transferred geometries will enter the selected secondary window.

	Note
Since the Windows 2000™, 2000 Professional™, XP Home™, XP Professional™ or NT4™ clipboard does not support vector information; the system uses a separate clipboard. The separate clipboard is a file transfer mechanism. This means that you may copy something to the clipboard today and pick it up tomorrow.
