Panning is moving around on the image without changing the display scale. This is used when you want to view parts of an image that are not displayed, but do not want to change the display scale. To activate this feature place the cursor in the work area. Simultaneously press the mouse button while moving the cursor. The cursor will change into a hand. Drag the hand to another position and release the mouse button. The image is dragged to the new location in the window. This action may be repeated to view all parts of the image. |
The Grid utility enables you to reference a grid-like pattern marked by rectangles or triangles. The grid points are accessible during mouse pointing work. The grid is displayed as small crosses (rectangular net) or isometric crosses (triangular net), and is a background reference only (it cannot be mailed).
