Corrects small shifts and misalignments which may occur when handling scanned images. To set the raster image in the desirable orientation, select from the menu. Click on the first point to be the center of rotation, and a straight line will appear. Click on the second point to create a line that will be aligned to the horizon, and the image will align according to it. If alignment is used and there are vector geometries in the file, you will be ask whether to delete the geometries.

Enables you to query, verify and change the nature and position of the connecting nodes on a selected geometry. Select from the menu, or the toolbar. The cursor appears as a question mark.
Place the cursor on a node and click the mouse button. A window appears with information on that node and figure. The X and Y coordinates of the node are given in edit boxes and can be set to a new location. Pressing will set the control point to the new location you entered. The total number of curves and polylines in the figure are listed, as well as the total number of control points (nodes) in the figure.
To Verify general information on the figure, place the question mark outside of the figure where there are no nodes. Click the mouse. Measure evaluates vertical, horizontal and diagonal distances as well as angles between two points. After you select the measure function, a rectangle with eight control points will appear on screen followed by the measure dialog box. Move the control point to the desired locations in order to get the distances and angles between the rectangle control points. You can continue measuring until the Measure dialog box is closed. The values in the measure dialog box can be copied into the Windows clipboard by marking the value you whish to copy (make it appear with blue background) press the mouse button and select from the pop-up menu. |
