New
Cimagraphi Tutorial |
|
A
new tutorial for version 8 is now available on the GraphiTech's website.
This tutorial puts emphasis on 3D surface sculpting and milling. The
tutorial goes through the basic 2D function of bitmap vectorizing and
the Trace automatic cleanup tools, through the GraphiCad text handling
and layer seperation tools. The Picture To Part provides the 3D surface
design, using both embossing and component handling. The tutorial
finaly guides the user through the actual milling process, required to
machine the part. |

CopyMate now a plug-in to Cimagraphi 8 |
|
CopyMate
has
been re-designed so that it is now a plug-in module the the larger
Cimagraphi package. This provides users with a full arsenal of tools to
edit and modify scanned surfaces. Scanned components can be easily
integrated into original desings. Quality output as STL are greatly
improved. The scanned surfaces enjoy the powerful machining tools of
the Mill module.

long awaited version 8.15 has just been released, with major bug fixing
and support for Rhino's version 4 *.3DM format.

CopyMate Version 3 Released! [23.09.2007] |

CopyMate
version is fully
integrated with Cimagraphi. This provides full surface handling and
editing with the poerfull Picture To Part surface modeler. It also
enables a wide range of milling strategies and improved toolpath
optimization. CopyMate 3 also has an improved human interface and the
ability to pre-define multiple scans, which are performed automaticaly
by the system.

Open
House 2007 – Jewelry and Religious
artifacts design. [25.01.2007] |

January
25th 2007 –
GraphiTech held a
first of a kind open house. The open house held January 25th,
attracted close to 80 visitors from over 15 companies. GraphiTech
staff and guest speakers from JewelCAD
and Objet
demonstrated design and
manufacturing methods. The meeting showed a wide variety of tools,
providing a complete solution for both designers and manufacturers
of jewelry and Religious artifacts (mainly from the Judaica field).

become an official
Siemens ‘SSP – Sinumerik solution
provider’.
Providing part digitizing and milling, CopyMate is fully integrated
within the Siemens CNC Sinumerik controls 810D, 840D. Machines with
these controls will provide an easy plug-in like functionality
which instantly enables CNC machines to scan a part, and with a
single setup mill it with a wide range of milling strategies.
CopyMate is a complimentary product to the SINUMERIK
controller.
